Estonian Libraries Network Consortium (ELNET Consortium) is, as specified in its Bylaws, a non-profit organisation representing the common public interests of libraries.
The main areas of activity of the ELNET Consortium are:
- management and development of the shared online catalogue ESTER and the database of Estonian articles, and the integrated library system Millennium,
- management and development of the Estonian Subject Thesaurus,
- coordination of the acquisition of electronic publications between the member libraries of the Consortium,
- initiation and coordination of various cooperation projects.
