Data-base has been created on the basis of the materials found at the Estonian Academic Library, but the sources of the Estonian Centre of Geology and the Institute of Geology has been used as well. Subject words are added to the entries.

Data-base Geology, which has been created in 2001, is reflecting literature published since 1981-2000. Earlier materials are available in the printed form.
